THE LATEST!

We have had a great week... Michael had to go to derrick school for 3 days in Tyler on his days off so me and the boys just hung around the house. Michael got home yesterday (Sunday) and we had a nice family day. Then last night we took the boys to Trinity Church for their independence celebration. It was so much fun... they had bounce houses and water slides everywhere.... then there were fireworks..... AWESOME ... The boys loved it... and ofcourse I did too! I took some awesome pictures but the 4g memory card that I bought off of ebay from Hong Kong DOES NOT WORK.... AND I AM NOT HAPPY..... it interfers with my picture taking!!!!!!!! Last week I took these pictures of the boys at my dad's...

We are suppossed to go to Houston with Michael next week on his days off, he has another school to go to and we were going to tag along and do some school shopping and come back throught Dallas and probably hit Six flags and hurricane harbor while we were that way.... but now we don't know if he is going to the school or not so we have to wait and see. If we don't go to Houston the we will we probably still go to 6 flags and to the water park next weekend. And ofcourse do some school shopping for the boys.... we are wanting to put Koleson in a pre-school program so he needs school clothes too! I have to go to the yucky doctor this wendsday... and i am not looking foward to it... I have to go to a new cardiologist in August and also back to Tyler to the neurologist in August also... I am just full of doctors apptointments!!!! And I need to go to the dentist.... WHEW!

SUMMER TIME FUN TODAY!

We took the boys to the Sulphur Springs pool today and the boys had a blast! Kaiden has been swimming since he was 5 but Koleson , our 3 year old today was so funny. He started jumping off the side into the water to Michael, each time Koleson jumped Michael would take a couple of steps back and Koleson just started swimming to him, he had his life jacket on but I think we have 2 fishy's on our hands. It's so funny because when we were at home one night we taught him how to swim, so when you ask him how to swim he gets on the floor and kicks his legs and moves his hands, and i guess it worked because he was swimming so good today.... I had some great pictures of it but the 4G memory card that I bought from Hong Kong doesn't work, so I am not happy about that! I guess that's why it was so cheap!

Yesterday, the boys and I went over to Commerce to get Boomer (kaiden's pet snake) some more food, well , I left the boys in the truck and just ran in the pet shop to grab the ummm food and while I was waiting I decided to get a hamster......... Anyway , I walked out with it and the boys were so excited. Kaiden names the newest addition"Mitchell."... so Mitchell it is! Ok, now the fun begins when we get home. Symie (the cat) immediatley wakes up and stands to attention at the little fur ball, then I walked into Kaiden's room to find that he had Mitchell's cage next to Boomer's cage!!!!! The snake was paying attention to his neighbor!!! Then the cat jumps up to visit also. I have the cutest picture of the snake looking towards the hamster cage and the cat looking at the hamster too! We moved "Mitchell" across the room but now have to shut Kaiden's door because of the furry four legged kitty kat!!!!!

After a 2 hour delay the plane finally arrived and the boys were so excited! I guess I didn't get Michael in this picture because he was probably behind me jumping up and down!!! Look at those sweet faces! (first day) (first day) kaiden's first plane ride! he thought he was going to freak out , but he it so much! I took this picture when we got on the plane but I should have gotten another one when we were in the air... he was so happy!

This was so sweet, they were just watching the planes come and go, at the airport, and you can't see them but each of them has toy airplanes in front of them. (first day)

Here are some of the pictures that I promised you of our Vegas vacation... I promise that one day when I am putting a bunch of pictures on here, they won't be in a backwards order! I hope that you enjoy them! Now we are in the process of figuring out what else we are doing this summer... ofcourse Six Flags and I am sure Hurricane Harbor is a given and lots and lots of swimming. Kaiden does not like to swim in the lake... he has a fear of it because he can't see what is below him but take him to the pool and he is a complete fish. I think he may have gotten that from our pool, because before we moved back to the Mt. Vernon area we had an in-ground awesome swimming pool where he learned how to swim, I don't know if that has anything to do with it though. I sure wish we could have brought that pool with us when we moved back!!!! We are working on getting a above ground pool but more than likley it will be next summer which Michael is alreadly planning next summers big vacation to Orlando.... I guess planning is a good thing but a year off? Michael's tool pusher and driller was talking to him the other day about stepping up to being a driller in September!!!! That is the next step and what he has been training for, he is nervous but it will be well desereved and I am so proud of him. He works so hard for his family and I couldn't ask for a better husband or father. He does drive me crazy but I wouldn't have it any other way, he is the best!

WE ARE HOME FROM VEGAS!

WELL, WE ARE HOME FROM OUR VACATION IN VEGAS! IT WAS SO AWESOME. WE WENT TO THE HOOVER DAM AND TO THE GRAND CANYON, OH MY GOODNESS IT WAS SO BREATH TAKING! WE DID SO MUCH SIGHT SEEING ..... AND A LOT OF WALKING.AND I TOOK 1153 PICTURES IN 6 DAYS! WE ARE ALL SO TIRED STILL BUT IT WAS SO WORTH IT. MICHAEL HAD TO GO BACK TO WORK THIS MORNING :-( WE STAYED AT CIRCUS CIRCUS: IT HAS AN INDOOR THEME PARK (AWESOME) AND A CIRCUS INSIDE. IT WAS JUST A COOL PLACE AND THE BOYS LOVED IT SO MUCH. WE WENT TO THE MIRAGE AND SAW THE DOLPHINS AND KAIDEN AND KOLESON PLAYED CATCH WITH THE NEW BABY DOLPHIN, WE ALSO SAW THE WHITE TIGERS THERE (SO BEAUTIFUL) THERE IS NO WAY TO TELL YOU WHAT ALL THAT WE DID... BUT WE HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME AND WANT TO GO BACK..... I WILL BE BACK TO TELL YOU MORE ABOUT IT AND POST SOME PICS OF OUR VACATION. i guess that i am nervous about flying monday because I CAN NOT SLEEP AT ALL....... AND I NEED SLEEP. i couldn't sleep last night either, i guess i am just nervous with excited all rolled up together....

SUMMER VACATION BEGINS WITH A BANG!

Summer has officially begun! We have been having a great time. Kaiden is now a big 2nd grader!!!! He has Mrs. Caldwell for a teacher next year..... so we are all excited. We have a very busy and exciting summer planned, and I can not wait. We leave for Vegas in 2 days and we are all so excited, well except for Michael's ankle (he broke it at work last week OUCH!) he has decided that he going to rent a scooter so that he can ride around while we are there!!! Next tuesday we are going to the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon..... CAN'T WAIT! Here is some pictures of our summer so far

Last Saturday, Kaiden got a medal for baseball, at Closing Ceromonies he was so excited. He has 3 medals and 2 trophies so far and he has them displayed so proudly... I love it. After closing ceromonies we ran out to the lake for cubscout graduation. Kaiden graduated from a Tiger to a Wolf.... It was so cute, they had a lil graduation celebration, the kids got to swim and we had hamburgers and a ceromony. Kaiden praticipated in the flag retirement ceromony. It was a good night Kaiden has really enjoyed cub scouts, they have learned a lot, and from what I hear, they will be busy this summer, with swimming, bowling, skating and no telling what else we have instore. We are planning to spend time with Michael when he is in Fairfield working, we will probably stay at the lake down there. He works 7 days on and 7 days off and being gone for a week at a time can be hard so we are going down there with him some, so when his 12 + days are done, he can be with us even though he probably needs to be resting after a hard days work!!!!
