OUR TYLER TRIP

A sweet brother momment!!!!

Kaiden was playing with my camera! I am always taking pictures of them, so he sd that it was my turn to get my picture taken!

We got back from our Tyler trip last Friday. It went pretty good. First off my mom's surgery went great, she is doing much better, unlike me on the other hand I was so sick, and I felt so bad that I couldn't be with my mom on her surgery day. So while Michael was at his drilling school , I stayed at the hotel with the boys which let me tell you when you are sick, a hotel with one room with two bored little boys isn't very good, I even tried to hide in the bathroom and Koleson kept finding me, he thought it was a game! Where were there a week and I started feeling better on Wednesday, so we had a pretty good time after that, the boys of course went swimming and swimming and more swimming, I did some school shopping :-) , we all went to see the new batman movie which was a really good one, and we took the boys to a place called Kids Depot which is a big inside playground, they loved it, it was really neat. Then Thursday night we went to Michael's company picnic thingy which was very interesting.

THIS WEEK AND THE WEEK TO COME!

The boys had VBS this week and they had a little program last night, Kaiden was so cute up there in front of everyone singing and having a great time. Koleson however, was just fine in my lap, he didn't want to sing, and when Koleson doesn't want to do something ... oh boy watch out! We are leaving Sunday afternoon to meet Michael in Tyler for his driller school Monday-Wednesday... and we are going to stay in his hotel with him and let the boys swim and do some school shopping and all that good stuff. My brother called me earlier and my mom had her vascular surgeon appt today and they are setting her up for surgery next Tuesday, so while Michael is in school me and the boys will be at the hospital with my mom. Then when mom gets out of the hospital Sean (my brother) will take her back to his house in Marshall and she is supposed to stay there, but next weekend he and his family has to go to Waco so I will be at his house all weekend mama sitting....

PRAYERS FOR MY MOM

Yesterday my mom called me and told that my sister in law Misty was taking my mom to the ER in Longview. My mom's toes were blue, and that it could be a very serious problem. We took the boys to my grandmothers and me and Michael headed to Longview. We got there and I about fell out when I saw my mom's toes. THEY WERE ACTUALLY RELALY BLUE/BLACK. She wasn't getting any blood to them and she was in a lot of pain. They did an arterial gram (OUCH), so after that she had to lay flat for four hours. They thought she probably has some blood clots (NOT GOOD) They couldn't fix the problem during the procedure so they put her on medicine to hopefully solve the problem, but if not she may lose some toes, so I am so hoping the medicine works.

I took the boys across the road and took some great pictures of my boys. I thought they turned out great. We are going back and get some more but it was really hot and the boys had enough very quick, although they were the best troopers!

YEAH I AM OK!!!! WE CELEBRATED!

YEAH I'M OK!!!! I got my test results back Tuesday and NO CANCER..... I started jumping up and down and doing my happy dance! We decided to celebrate and take the boys to the Rowlett water park Wetzone then we went to eat at my favorite restaurant Texas Roadhouse (hmm yummy) then we went to the movies and saw Wall-e ( not my choice) We had the best day

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!

I love fireworks, there is something really majestic about them. Usually we go all out with fireworks when Michael is home but this year he had to work and had to work tonight so we couldn't have went down there and did our fireworks with him. So, the plan was just to hang around the house and pop a few with the boys......... I thought I was doing so good... while I was at wal-mart they had some fireworks that was in a package ( so I thought) and that was my first mistake (thinking) I thought this was a good idea so that I wouldn't have to stop at the busy firework stands... Well the boys were so excited and couldn't wait til dark, ok dark comes and we all go outside and I took one of the fireworks and lite it...... NOTHING , then I did another one.....NOTHING.... I picked one up and read the label... IT READ.... TO POP: JERK THE STRING.... oh my goodness they were just poppers with the confetti in them... now in my defense they looked just like the cone fireworks. I felt so bad and Kaiden was not happy about it, and I hate to disappoint them but it is going to happen, Koleson was just rolling with the flow. My neighbors were popping some fireworks (the real pretty kind) so the boys ran down to my grandmothers to get a better view. So there we sat in my grandmother's driveway watching the neighbors fireworks. Kaiden was still very upset with me.... but later told me he was sorry. I felt really bad but all I can say is although mama's are near perfect sometimes we slip up! My mind hasn't been right anyway, so I am sticking with that.


Oh, the Houston trip is off for next week. Michael's tool pusher said that he would go to that school on his next days off so maybe in a couple of weeks we will go and drop by Arlington on the way back for 6 flags and Hurricane Harbor and hopefully hit a Rangers game! Last year at 6 flags Kaiden rode the Titan but after he got off he said NEVER AGAIN well the other day was were talking and he changed his mind because he is going to ride them all.... I couldn't believe it. Kaiden is the type to be scared to death of something so he won't try it so you have to within reason talk him into it and twist his arm to do it and sometimes kicking and screaming, but once he does it he loves it. So, we were talking and I asked him what changed his mind and he looked at me and said "because you always to me that I need to try new things to figure out if I will like it or not" I was floored and I had tears in my eyes because he actually listened to something I had told him and I was so proud of him! I think that we are going to try and take the boys to Rowlett next week while Michael is in to their water park.... just can't beat the price and it is small so it's good for the kids . Well, it all depends on what the test results say before I start planning next weeks activities. But I know that they will be okay.

When we were in Wal-mart of course Kaiden was aggravating Koleson and I asked him why do you have to do that... he said "because I am his big brother and that is what I am supposed to do!!!!!!!!!!" Wise beyond their years! So cute....

MORE SUMMER FUN......

I woke up this morning and decided that although I am really worried about these test results that I need to do something fun with the boys. I went to Wal-mart and bought the boys some 3D chalk and 2 paint sprayers.... The boys had a blast. They loved the paint sprayers... they kept trying to paint the cats. I have a solid white cat that stays in the house and Kaiden wanted to paint him hot pink and blue although that would have been fun I couldn't let them do it to him! So they set there eyes on spraying the ants and the spiders.... I was okay with that!

I did a little school clothes's shopping the other day for Kaiden and Koleson picked out his own outfit out....

He is so proud of his little spongebob pajmas and he went to his closet and picked out his boots even if they don't match.... so adorable though and he couldn't be the only one having his picture taken!

I'm Scared

I went to the yucky woman's doctor yesterday and now I am more scared than ever. First off, I have a small infection... no big deal he said but during the exam he noticed some kind of abnormal cells so he sent them off to see if they were cancerous :-( He also went ahead and did some blood work. A couple of months ago when I went to the neurologist for the mri's and cat scans due to migraines, that doctor did some blood work and found that I had some kind of high inflammation somewhere in my body and I was supposed to go back next month and repeat that certain test to see if the inflammation levels had went down, well I told the yucky doctor this and he said that whatever the abnormal cells were, was probably the reason. He said that this small infection was actually a good thing since it got me in there and they found this, whatever it is. HOPEFULLY NOTHING...... Michael is at work this week so yesterday I just told him that the appointment went ok, and when I picked up the boys from my grandmother's I told her and my dad the same thing, that the appointment went well and just about the infection. I couldn't tell them about the possible cancer scare, I guess I was still trying to grasp it. But today I told them, and my grandmother could tell yesterday that I was holding back. I called my mom and told her and I guess she called my brother because not longer after I got off the phone with her, I got a text from Sean (brother) and it said "I love you and I am here for you, and you will be fine, it is in god's hands now.") That meant a lot to me. I find out the test results next Tuesday or Wednesday, so now I have to wait and wait and wait a little bit longer.

Wish me luck, i am off to the yucky doctor in the morning to figure out what has been going on with me, and to make sure that I am ok..... I AM NERVOUS.
