Hi everyone out there, my name is Cathy Spradling. My maiden name was Hightower. I am from a small town of Mt. Vernon and still here. I am happily married to a wonderful man named Michael who was a god send, i am a stay at home mom and we have two beautiful boys, Kaiden will be 8 in September 2008 and in first grade and Koleson just turned 3 on March 30th 2008. We have been trying for a lil over a year now to have our 3rd mircle but no luck yet, we want a little girl but we sure would be happy for another baby boy! Just as long as they are healthy, I had a lot of problems with my last 2 pregancies so I will have to listen to the doctor if we get pregnant this time! So, now that you know a lil about me lets get started! Kaiden is currently playing baseball and he is playing catcher, he loves it but gets really hot! Kaiden is also in cub scouts as a tiger cub, so we stay busy. Kaiden is on the Yankees team #45. We had a game today, we lost :- ( kaiden didn't get any hits but did really well in being the catcher.... I know everyone likes to win, but at one of the games Kaiden was up to bat, and Michael over heard one of the kids saying "daddy why do you say that he is the worst player on the team." and ofcourse the dad is like hush, hush, and doesnt even look at Michael, but then Kaiden hit a single!!!!! I was so so mad, upset and hurt, because me and Michael both had a lot of respect for this dad but that was all gone after that, I wanted to say something, but I held back, and I am glad that I did .This is Kaiden's first year out of T-Ball and he is having adjustments with hitting from the pitcher. We bought him a pitching machine and he has gotten a lot better, that next practice he was hitting so much better, and impressed the two coaches that was there, but the other jerk wasnt there that day, and in the next game he hit again. I don't know why it bothers me so much that this person said this about my son, but it does, or it did, I am working on it.... slowly..... :-) I am sorry, I just get upset when an adult talks bad about an innocent child . I am having so much fun watching Kaiden playing ball.... but it is just a game, and I want him to be able to learn the game and have fun, I have met some really nice mom's also, so that is great. thanks for reading!!!! have a good night!!!!
